bbi is pleased to announce the release of our Elite Force 1/18 F-16C Fighting Falcon. A remarkable, highly detailed replica of the famed Lockheed Martin F-16 Fighting Falcon, the first US Air Force's multi-role, compact fighter aircraft. This highly maneuverable jet fighter proved itself many times in air-to-air combat and air-to-surface attacks. The F-16 is also renowned for being the world's first aircraft to withstand higher G-forces than its pilots. Today 2,000 Fighting Falcons are a part of the USAF's fighter jet fleet along with another 2,000 that have been in service in 25 other countries since 1979. Since Sept. 11, 2001 the F-16 has been a major component of the combat forces in support of operations Enduring Freedom.
